  15. Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. It has a voracious appetite, and although you've been feeding it well, it quickly took to hunting on its own. (Oceanic)

  28. Brine Leviathans are massive creatures whose behavior changes based on their environment. In the ocean, they are active, aggressive hunters. Their strong sense of smell allows them to pinpoint suitable prey; they use the ocean's currents and their own magic to reach it swiftly. They have excellent memories, easily able to recall paths that they may not have taken for years. If the time is taken to earn their trust, some Oceanic Brine Leviathans are even willing to ferry ships across the ocean, providing both protection and guidance. Unlike their wetland counterparts, they are highly territorial and mostly solitary, but they do have a soft spot: they are extremely attentive to their children. (Oceanic)
  29. Brine Leviathans are massive creatures whose behavior changes based on their environment. In swamps and small bodies of water, they are lethargic ambush predators. They hide just beneath the water's surface and wait for prey to approach them. Then, they suddenly spring into action, using their powerful jaws and potent magic to ensure their target's swift demise. After this flurry of activity, they return to resting as if nothing happened. Despite their languid dispositions, Wetland Brine Leviathans are observant, inquisitive creatures who are extremely attentive to their children. They tend to be more social than their oceanic counterparts and often gather together to bask and exchange news. (Wetland)

  31. Encyclopedia(optional)
  32. -Appearance/Basic Anatomy
  33. Broad, flat jaws, filled with sharp teeth which can be replaced indefinitely.
  34. Thick, ridged scales on the back which provide protection.
  35. Tiny dark spots in the center of their scales, which seem to be sensory organs.
  36. The oceanic variant tends to be larger and more densely built than the wetland variant.
  37. The wetland variant has rough, knobbly scales in shades of dull brown and green, somewhat akin to tree bark.
  38. The oceanic variant has smaller, smoother scales that are mostly black, with small splotches of white.
  39. -Hatchling Behavior
  40. Start out tiny compared to their adult forms, so they're vulnerable and often eaten by bigger creatures.
  41. Curious about everything; tend to explore new things via biting them.
  42. When young, they hide in their mothers' mouths for protection.
  43. As they get older, they disperse themselves; oceanic hatchlings are likely to fight each other to establish their territories.
  44. Very food-oriented, especially the wetland variant. They will sniff out and devour any food they can find.
  45. -Adult Behavior
  46. Mostly nocturnal; the wetland variant sleeps more than the oceanic variant does.
  47. Highly intelligent, with excellent memories and intuition.
  48. Wetland Brines are social amongst their own species, but somewhat guarded to those of other species.
  49. Oceanic Brines are the opposite, seeing other species as less of a threat and thus being more willing to form friendships.
  50. The oceanic variant is much more territorial than the wetland variant.
  51. -Habitat
  52. Prefer to live in salty or brackish waters, but can get by in fresh water.
  53. Wetland Brines live in loosely knit communities within swamps and small bodies of water.
  54. They often modify their environments to better suit them, diverting rivers and shaping highways into the mud.
  55. Oceanic Brines have their own established dens along the coast, which they return to regularly.
  56. They also have defined territories within the ocean, claiming specific currents as their own.
  57. -Diet
  58. Opportunistic predators that will take whatever they can get, though they prefer larger meals.
  59. Strong stomachs; able to eat almost anything, resistant to most poisons.
  60. Can go a long time without eating or drinking.
  61. During times of scarcity, they may consume fruits and plant matter as well as meat.

  63. *The minimum number of entries should be 5 for hatchlings(any entry with information specifically about hatchling behavior/appearance/anatomy/diet) and 15 for adults(count all entries excluding hatchling entries). General information about the breed counts as an adult entry.
  64. *The maximum number of entries is 8 for each category.
  65. *If the S2 hatchling and/or adult has dimorphism and different artists worked on them, please specify who worked on which sprite. The same goes for variants/alts.
