- REGULATION (KJ) 2024/1249 OF THE PARLIAMENT OF KAZJISTAN
- of 9 June 2024
- on the matter of duties and powers of moderators
- Having regard to the Kazjistan Constitution on its function, and in particular Article 8 and 9 thereof, Acting in accordance with the ordinary legislative procedure.
- Whereas,
- Section 1 - Definitions
- (1) A Moderator shall be defined as, a person appointed to uphold the rules of Kazjistan.
- Section 2 - Contents
- Subsection I: Appointments.
- (1) Moderators shall be appointed by the Secretary of Moderation, subject to approval from the Minister of Justice.
- (2) If the position of Secretary of Moderation is not occupied, the longest-serving Moderator shall become the acting Secretary of Moderation until a new one is appointed.
- (3) If neither position is occupied, the Prime Minister may appoint Moderators.
- Subsection II: Duties.
- (1) Moderators shall keep a complete record of all rule violations in a channel hereby created for this task; #rule-violations. This channel shall be restricted to Moderators and higher roles.
- (2) Moderators shall enforce the complete rules of Kazjistan, outlined in rules
- (3) Moderators cannot give preferential treatment to any member or citizen of Kazjistan for any reason.
- (4) If a Moderator sees violating behaviour or action, they cannot refuse to punish members or citizens for any reason.
- Subsection III: Powers.
- (1) Moderators shall have the power to timeout and mute members and citizens of Kazjistan, as specified by the complete rules.
- (2) If a Moderator is unsure whether someone's behaviour constitutes a rule breach, they may instead choose to warn the offending person.
- This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in Kazjistan in accordance with the Constitution
