- Losing the knife with each stab appeared far too punishing, regardless of the shorter melt time. This version makes the knife require at least 3 consequtive stabs to break, and a longer regen to compensate. This should make the choice of manually melting the knife of breaking it automatically more in the spy's control.
- Tribalman's Shiv
- + Reduced damage penalty to 35%
- - Reduced bleed duration to 6 seconds
- - On Miss: Hit yourself, wanker
- Experimenting with the weapon to perform better in direct combat in conjunction with the speed boost, however introducing more risk for prolonging fights should you choose to go for multiple swings. In addition, this version triggers both speed boost and bleed on miss, giving sniper more access to speed at the cost of health loss to consider.
- The Machina
- + Shots pierce at any charge level
- - Removed damage bonus at full charge
- - Added -25% clip size penalty
- The rifle's identity was more focused on sedentary charging and didn't make much of its piercing ability. This version intends on making that piercing more readily available at the cost of shorter clip to increase downtime and make the sniper more considerate.
