- Irony is the close contrast of what on the surface appears to be the case and what is actually the case or to be expected. A classic example of this is the Waco Siege where the US Attorney General, Janet Reno, ordered an all-out FBI and ATF assault on a religious cult's compound to prevent a mass-suicide attempt a la Jonestown. After the smoke cleared, literally, 88 Branch Davidians lay dead, including 25 children, a fair number of fetuses and Davidian leader David Koresh.

- This November, you’re going to have to make a hard choice between two candidates who have devoted themselves to Israel.
- Like all Americans, you must ask yourself: “Who is more devoted to Israel? Who will best serve the chosen ones?”
- Choose wisely, my fellow American.
- Because America is an idea, and that idea is: “Israel has a right to defend itself.”
- New York Post:
- Kamala Harris said Thursday that she will “stand up for Israel’s right to defend itself” as president — while at the same time saying a cease-fire in Gaza must get “done.”
- “Now is the time to get a hostage deal and a cease-fire deal done!” she said to loud applause while delivering her presidential nomination acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
- “And let me be clear, I will always stand up for Israel’s right to defend itself and I will always ensure Israel has the ability to defend itself,” the vice president added.
- Harris voiced sympathy for Israelis in her speech, recalling the massacre of about 1,200 people that started the war, and Palestinian civilians who have died following Israel’s invasion of the Gaza Strip after Hamas’ surprise attack on Oct. 7, 2023.
- “The people of Israel must never again face the horror that the terrorist organization Hamas caused on Oct. 7, including unspeakable sexual violence and the massacre of young people at a music festival,” she said.
- You might say: “Wow, that is really extreme. She is still talking about October 7th and Kuh-Hamas. She must be the one to vote for.”
- But don’t rush to make your decision too fast.
- There is another candidate, and he is really, really obsessed with the Jews and Israel.
- The fact is: these are both good choices. They both believe in the American experiment to fight endless wars for Israel, no matter the cost.
- But because America is a democracy, it is up to you, the voter, to look at these two candidates and decide who will truly be the ultimate defender of our values in the Middle East.
- It’s a hard choice, for sure. That’s why you must study both candidates, study their statements and study their connections to the Jews, and make the right decision on who is best for our ally Israel.
