Player's House Dialogue

Part 1: Player’s House
After the opening sequence, the player wakes up from his bedroom. He can check out his PC box and see all the available dolls in his room (namely, the Pikachu doll and Eevee doll.)

When he goes downstairs, he sees his mother in the dining area. When your mom sees you, he walks near you and…
Mom: Are you ready to start your adventure? Here, take this with you.
<Player> received PokéGear!
Mom: Pokémon Gear, or just PokéGear. It is an essential item for a trainer like you.
Mom: It contains 4 features, 2 of which are pre-loaded.
Mom: By the way, the day of the week isn’t set. You mustn’t forget that!
Player then sets the day of the week.
Mom: <chosen day>, is it?
Mom: Is it Daylight Saving Time now?
Player can choose whether to activate Daylight Saving Time (DST) or not.
If player activates DST:
Mom: <current time> DST, is that ok?
Regardless of player activating DST or not…
Mom: Come home to adjust your clock for Daylight Saving Time.
Mom: You can access the clock in the PokéGear. Mom: It appears immediately after you open it.
Mom: Another feature of the Pokégear is the Phone.
Mom: By the way, do you know how to use the Phone?
If player says yes:
Mom: Don’t you just turn the Pokégear on and select the Phone icon?”
If player says no:
Mom: I’ll read the instructions.
Mom: Turn the Pokégear on and select the Phone icon.
Mom: Phone numbers are stored in memory.
Mom: Just choose a name you want to call.
Mom: Gee, isn’t that convenient?
Then, your mom tells your next stop.
Mom: Your journey won’t be complete without a buddy with you. I’m sure Prof. Oak is waiting in his lab.
Mom: The lab is located southwest of this town. Mom: It’s pretty big, you’ll notice.
Mom: Remember, the road to become a Champion is never easy,
Mom: but never give up! It’ll be worth it.
