- Flamethrowers
- - Decreased time before Temperature resets to 0.33s (was 0.5s)
- - Added delay in Temperature ramp-up formula before damage increases
- The delay before temperature could fall was potentially too slow and allowed for some spraying to still be rewarded with damage ramp-up. It was tightened considerably, and the temperature ramp-up curve was given a slower start to make it more rewarding for accurate pyros and less rewarding for spraying and praying.
- Air Blast
- + Added: Pressure is restored to full on extinguishing ally
- - Increased Pressure recharge time to 8s (was 5s)
- The recharge was increased considerably to curb the excesses of allowing pyro to switch between positions too casually. It was however given a boon for extinguishing allies to incentivize using it for support without punishing your ability to use it offensively.
- Degreaser
- + Added: Decreased pressure recharge speed by 40%
- The flamethrower was considerably less powerful to the rest with the pyro buffs it didn't necessarily benefit the most from. It was given a faster pressure recharge to better allow switching between defensive reflects and then using airblast for mobility.
- Loch-n-Load
- + Removed reload speed penalty
- - Weapon no longer reloads all ammo at once
- - Removed firing speed bonus
- The spammability of the weapon was under considerable scrutiny, compounding the added range that makes such spam hard to punish. Thusly it was reined in considerably, closer to the vanilla version with upside of it's reload on kill to still reward precise use of your 2 pipes to mitigate your sustain issues.
- Pomson 6000
- + Increased projectile speed to 50% faster (was 33% faster)
- The downsides to the weapon were considered a bit too punishing, in particular with it being harder to hit than the shotgun. The speed was buffed slightly to aid in that.
