  1. Tribe name: AstroWings
  2.
  3. Description: AstroWings tend to be on the small side, though royalty are taller and more elegant. They are deep blues and purples, sometimes with a little green. They would be able to melt into shadows like their distant relatives the NightWings if it weren't for their starry patterns. They are covered with small white or yellow spots that constantly glow, and if they are feeling a strong emotion, they glow even brighter. Their wings are like fingerprints, each a different pattern, and dragons with spiraling patterns are usually either royalty or from an artisan family. AstroWings pride themselves on their wings, and if one is damaged they are allowed leave from any event to tend them until they heal back to normal. Their eyes, like the star patterns, emit a soft light and are usually yellow or orange. Their horns tend to be thin and sharpen to a point naturally, but they are easy to break.
  4.
  5. Abilities: Their abilities are arranged into a hierarchy like this:
  6.
  7. Powerless (rank 0): No special abilities.
  8.
  9. Whisperers (rank 1): Able to talk with animals OR plants. Whisperers who can understand both are called Leaftails.
  10.
  11. Keneticists (rank 2): Able to control one of a single element, usually metal, water, wood, earth, or fire. The middle class; the most common powers. Keneticists who can use them all are called Telekinetics.
  12.
  13. Mattermovers (rank 3): Able to teleport any distance, anywhere they have been or seen. The second-highest rank except for Timeshifters, treated like minor royalty.
  14.
  15. Speakers (rank 4): Able to use all of the above powers. Treated as high royalty.
  16.
  17. Timeshifters (rank 5): Only appear once every 2000 years, and there can only be one at once. Their natural lifespan is at least 500 years, though their actual lifespan is unknown. Timeshifters are able to control timelines, for a price. Stopping time: 1 day of their life for every minute time is stopped. Changing time: 1 week of their life. Switching, saving, or loading timelines: half a year. Destroying timelines: a year. (If this seems overpowered, feel free to tell me!)
  18.
  19. Modern history: AstroWings are known to the other dragons who know of them as a strictly ordered society. Those who break their rules of not interfering are punished severely, and this is impressed on them from childhood. Most dragons think they're just myths from dragons who had a little too much cactus juice.
  20.
  21. Early history: Queen Astronomer was originally a NightWing who hid her animus powers. It is said she fled as far as she could fly. Exhausted nearly to death, she summoned an island with her powerful magic and rested there. She decided she would build an entire tribe on the island, and so she worked for weeks on the spell that would change her and bring a husband into being. When she was finally done, she created another pair, so that she would have enough dragons to form a tribe. She appointed herself and her husband, King Leo, as rulers and lived a long, fulfilling life. On her deathbed, however, she gifted each of her four children with different powers. However, the other dragons she had made, Stargazer and Stella, were not given these powers, and so the fifth and lowest class was born.
  22.
  23. Current queen: Queen Tauros
  24.
  25. Historic queen: Queen Astronomer
  26.
  27. Known animus dragons: Queen Astronomer
  28.
  29. Other: AstroWings are named after space- and star-related things, like constellations. Common names would be Stargazer, Dipper, and Cancer.
