  1. Kong had taken pterodactyls from their perches on the cliffs, and he had learned how to track and kill the armored plant-eaters almost half his size. Their defense was to tuck in legs and head, so they looked like humped boulders, but they could be turned over, and their bellies were softer, less defended. Kong had learned to raid nests for eggs, too.
