- Tribe name: FierceWings
- Description: FierceWings are covered with thick, wiry fur instead of scales. They can be brown, black, or grey, though red is a rare mutation. They have large, saber-like teeth and thick black horns, with small black eyes. They mainly rely on hearing and scent to get around, so the average FierceWing will have large ears and a wet, pointed nose. Their claws are hooked to make for easy climbing, and they have only vestigial wings that help them seem larger and more frightening. They are powerfully built, being able to shatter bone with their blows.
- Abilities: FierceWings have specially developed vocal cords that allow them to use a sonic boom attack. This incapacitates their prey, but because of their ears, they can use it for communication as well as hunting. They also are nearly immune to food poisoning.
- Modern history: FierceWings have recently been growing towards an organized society. Some groups are beginning to form alliances and even the few remaining nomads are cleaning up their act. They are making metal tools and developing a religion.
- Early history: FierceWings are a very common tribe and as such, remnants of their growth can be found across the continent. Many of the caves they have lived in are covered in tribal paintings, like records of a hunt or a marriage.
- Current queen: None, though the leader of the largest settlement's name is Taiga
- Historic queen: None
- Known animus dragons: None; the animus trait is bred in much later, however
- Naming styles: FierceWings use a pretty typical tribal naming system- as soon as the egg hatches, the dragon is named after something in their environment. Hearth Fire, Moonlit Peak, and Bird's Cry are all examples of their names.
- Living spaces/restrictions: As FierceWings are hardy, they can live almost anywhere. In caves, on the fields, nomadically, in forests, you name it. Anywhere food is found, you're sure to find at least a few FierceWings.
- Diet: FierceWings are entirely omnivorous. Being unable to use fire, they simply eat their catches raw unless they are part of a city. They can eat bread, fish, red meat, berries, and almost anything. Even toxic foods are fair game if a FierceWing is hungry enough.
- Other: None
