  1. ‘There is one called Bragi. He is renowned for wisdom and
  2. especially for eloquence and command of language. Especially he
  3. is knowledgeable about poetry, and because of him poetry is
  4. called brag, and from his name a person is said to be a brag [chief]
  5. of men or women who has eloquence beyond others, whether it is
  6. a woman or a man. Idunn is his wife. She keeps in her casket
  7. apples which the gods have to feed on when they age, and then
  8. they all become young, and so it will go on right up to Ragnarok.’

  11. great deal on Idunn’s care and trustworthiness.’
