The clock started. The crowd roared. The creature instantly shifted its stance, feet wide, knees bent, body leaning forward, the muscles of chest and shoulders and biceps tensing. Making a show of it as it let out a terrifying, challenging roar. The movement was tribal and ritualistic. And telling. Then it attacked. The monster was fast. Good lord it was fast.
