- The prior downsides weren't didn't fit the intended design. With these downsides, it would be decently more difficult to engage in melee combat with the movement inhibitors and without a direct damage nerf, and with some skill the extra damage force could be used to help surf damage to escape.
- Disciplinary Action
- + Removed holster speed penalty
- - Added +40% blast damage from rocket jumps
- Simply making it clunkier to use didn't much affect the huge benefit of using it, and any further melee combat buffs simply wouldn't impact that either. Instead, the added mobility you and your team are given was balanced against a downside that costs you your core mobility option in rocket jumping, requiring you consider your health more in making jumps or use something like gunboats which synergize less with the team support aspect of this weapon.

- The downside after one stab didn't appear to have an impact when making a single stab and escaping with the overheal, due to the high speed your health is restored.
- Southern Hospitality
- - Reduced extra dispenser range to +300% (from +350%)
- A nerf meant to rein in the range to something more reasonable, matching the range limit seen in MvM.
- Crusader's Crossbow
- - Increased max primary ammo penalty to -90% (was -75%)
- A simple nerf meant to make the use of the weapon require more ammo maintenance, and make each bolt less disposable to spam.
- Vaccinator
- ~ Reverting all prior changes
- + Increased uber build speed to +100% (was +67%)
- + Increased uber duration to 3 seconds (was 2.5s)
- + Uber effects remains on user while switching weapons
- - Removed passive resistances
- - Decreased uber's base damage resistance to 33% (was 75%)
- - Cannot capture objectives under uber effects
- The intent with these changes is to specialize the weapon into its uber’s disposable nature at the cost of the massive resistance it provides to counter individual enemies. With an even faster uber rate, the Medic is encouraged to spend their bubbles more proactively rather than reactively, preferably in place in waiting for the slow overheal building.
