- Ak'kili pulled up a hologram of the topography of the area. They most likely headed for the foothills. It was rugged enough to provide decent cover. From this vantage point she could see a good portion of the valley. She did a thermal scan of the area. There were a few hot spots from small wildlife but nothing large enough to be Yautja. Her scanner couldn't penetrate the larger hills and crags so her prey must be in one of the ravines behind them. She clicked her tusks in irritation.
- Ak'kili finally understood why the Enforcers hated hunting their kind. It wasn't because of any distaste for the assignment. Anytime prey was intelligent enough to know the limitations of their scanners, they instantly became a much more deadly species. Of course, it also made their actions a bit more predictable.-pg.166 chpt.7
