Angrily, Gaw closed its jaws on the shaft and yanked it free as it struggled to its feet, forcefully knocking the young Kong aside with its greater bulk. Regaining his balance, Kong was forced to swing upward at the taller Gaw’s armored, spiked skull. Gaw snapped down, and Kong barely evaded the deadly jaws.
